Part I Introduction: At the heart of every successful bilingual program there is a knowledgeable, creative, and dedicated individual who makes impacting the lives of students their life’s mission. Bilingual/Dual/ESL Language teachers hold high expectations for students and they are motivated by the deepest of convictions. They value their role and believe that they can make a difference in the life of a child.

In recognition of outstanding educational expertise and exemplary professional service throughout San Antonio, the San Antonio Area Association for Bilingual Education (SAAABE) has established the SAAABE Bilingual/ESL Teacher of the Year Award.

Part II Award: The winner of the 2024-2025 SAAABE Bilingual/ESL Teacher of the Year Awards will be publicly acknowledged and honored during the SAAABE Conference Luncheon on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Part I Introduction: An administrator is the ultimate leader. Someone who guides, directs, and shows the way by attitude and example. The San Antonio Area Association for Bilingual Education bestows the honor of Administrator of the Year to a person who is motivated by excellence. They are a proven master of implementation, support, and continual strive for excellence. They continually advocate for student needs and are committed to the success of Bilingual/Dual Language or ESL programs at their campus/ district.
